It may only be me but the forum has been running slow of late when trying to acces a topic some times it dose not load at all this may be to people having large pictuers under their name.

Forum loads very quick for me. (and just so you know, that pic under my name is only 10kb) As for any other pics, it would depend on where they are hosted and how large they are (as in filesize) for how quick they load.
Are you on dialup?
10kilobytes takes around 2-3 secs to load. (on dialup).
There a no picture saved on this server so the actual forums loads fast...
If a thread with pics loads slow from time to time, then it is the remote server, that is lagged to your connection.
In this thread its the one that hosts Cuisinart's pic. he prolly has an lousy ISP webserver, or it is just a bad route from the server to you.
