There will be a meeting of the USAAC Board of Director's this Friday July 20, 2007 at 10PM Wash DC Time on the USAAC Team Speak.

Last weeks meeting do not have a 'forum' in order to conclude business with vote, so a decission was made from the attending CO's and Representatives to recall the meeting for this Fri July 20 at 10PM Wash DC Time.

ALL CO's should attend if possible, minmum would be the CO's representative.

Agenda .. please see topic post for BoD meeting of July 13, 2007 http://forum.tidesofwar.net/index.php?showtopic=6208

NOTICE to PUBLIC

You are invited to attend but you will not have 'voice'. This means you cannot speak and be heard unless you have been granted privlage to speak. All USAAC meetings are public. The public can and will have appropriate time to speak, however, you must TEXT message to the room your desire for the floor and the topic or Item you wish to address. You will be given the floor and opportunity at the appropriate time.

Hey Nitro,

I am ONLY the webmaster, but I am also the Lead Event Manager appointed by our USA Representative Sal... and the front page does list me as Event Manager (word "Lead" left out).

If you would like to read everything again you will note that I've not called any shots so to speak .. none. I have made no 'rules' etc. Remember when you were put on as Staff I told you I had to have that approved first .. recall that :)

I make the announcement of Meetings .. the BoD decides on the the meeting dates and times. When I make announcements or post that may seem like rules to you .. I'm normally instructed to do those things by Sal or a member of the BoD.

I have made no "by laws" at all, I have no idea where you got that information from. I did however post a proposed 'charter' that must be adopted and approved by the BoD. Anyone can post a proposed charter .. or set of by laws etc .. even you. The BoD would consider it and make all the rulings.

I would be nice if you would contribute something of value rather than just take up my time asking questions that you already know the answer to :) What you trying to do here bro.. give me a workout ;) ?

Let me ask you something .. who do you think makes all the decissions for USAAC? It may appear like Tbar does it all because Tbar does most of the posting .. but rest assured if I did not have the support or directions from our US Rep and the CO's of the USAAC .. you would see post that indicate that.

For the most part I only do what must be done by someone .. and mostly in co-operation and forknowledge of the BoD.

For the record, and so that everyone knows, Sal and the CO's of the USAAC call all the shots. this group is called the Board of Directors. As far as I know .. there is no ONE person that makes all the decissions. If anyone has doubts .. please, ask any knowledgable person at UKAA, TAA or USAAC .. start with your CO or XO.

Hey Tbar,
Why you setting up meettings, making by laws, and calling the shots? It says on front page of USA site, you just a WEBMASTER, which means you only edit the site and update it.

thanks,

Nitro
I vote for Nitro to be Air Marshal 😵

Another achievement to be addes to his Sig;

Hi Guys and Gals,

I will be at the meeting tonight.I want to see this site get used by the USA teams.USHA will do all it can to make that happen.I have been trying to get TS and FD to have a rep available at tonights meeting so we can vote on the issues at hand and get started.

I invision a place where all the USA pilots can come together as one in a place that will be helpfull to all fellow AA members.

Seperate squad issues can be handled on your own forums. But in order to help newbies and vets alike. We need a place where we can encourage fellow USA pilots to come when they need help.

They will also be able to communicate with the established squads if they are interested in joining.

As stated many times.UK has a club and does well in helping the UK members.GE has a club and does well there also.

USA is now trying to be a place for you to come to and have a voice in the game.

USA events are up and runnning and there are lots of em to keep our members enticed to try diiferent things.Popgun and Tbar have done a wonderfull job in setting these up and figuring out new ideas that can be implemented for different events.

So if you can't say anything postive to help me and others like myself promote this site,Then please don't bash the site or it's members in a negative way.

Right now we need your support in getting this site established.

I'm calling on all of my fellow USA pilots to step up to the plate and help us make a great site for us to be at.

We need USA reps who can be your voice in the game. And everyone has a voice here.

It's time for all of us to act.

I will......Will you?????

Guess we will see who is with me tonight.

Sincerely,

USHA_Kid

I think .. that at least 1/2 the total pilots are USA. If the number were even as low as 25% .. that number alone is a good reason to have a USA Club site and organization.

Lets face it .. OUR voice will mean more .. carry more weight as a GROUP rather than individuals or squads. It is certainly not that we want to see massive changes, dominate the AA arena or have any type of "power" thing. It is simply that WE as USA pilots need our own house .. and our own place to call home base.

This site does 'positive' things even for the UKAA and TAA organization. We take some pressure off their sites, their support time and we are slowing adding positive input and activities. As Kid mentions the fun events alone have added a positive input for enjoyment and recreation for all .. not just USA pilots. Frankly UKAA and TAA have more time now to do things they have always wanted to do .. like recruit more pilots from their Geo Areas.
