I Am Really Tired Of Waiting 10 Minutes For This To Start

I bought this POS from EBGames in the Park Meadows Mall here in Colorado, and I am thoroughly SICK of getting thrown under the bus by the dumbass protection software. Jesper's fix reports "nothing to fix" or something like that, but I still keep getting my butt kicked by the worthless software.

Yes, I turned crummy Zone Alarm off. The game's worked before (and periodically will pull this **** on me seemingly at random), and I can't understand what takes 10 minutes to check.

This whole experience is making me think really hard about firing up Microsoft Combat Flight Sim 2.0 on my computer, and throwing this thing out the window.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, but I've played MS's Combat Sim, and I'd sooner play Enigma. Then again, I like to drive a sub.

Don't give up. It's a great game.

Usually you can just disable your anti-virus and see a huge improvement in boot up speed. The authenticator fails when something is getting between it and the cd/dvd drivers.

Support will usually tell you:

Turn off Anti-Virus

Turn off music sharing software

turn off any cd/dvd burning software

make sure your drivers (audio, video AND CD/DVD drive) are up to date.

should solve your problem.
