Version For This Weeks Snatf?

Are you guys updating to 4.05m for SNATF? I am thinking of getting the Pe-2 addon and I know a lot of others have gotten it or are going to be. There is a link to the Ded Server patch:

We are still at 4.04m ... dang it.

There is no one on duty until tomorrow unfortunately that can do that change over for practice Fri Night Session. I'll try and have that converted for tomorrow night .. but, I have a feeling that we will be on 4.04m still .

We still need One more SNATF Staff member with experience with FBD commands as well as the event itself to make sure we have all the backup staff needed.

hold the updating horses a minute....I've read the 4.05=the pe2 addon that costs $$$ to download...looking more into it...TAM please advise

from what I've seen....the 4.05m/4.05 is the new pe-2 addon that clientwise costs $$$ but the dedicated server part looks to be free. doesn't look like it's officially available in US since they only advertising prices in euro, francs and pounds sterling.

Yes the PE-2 add-on cost around $18 US and it is available for download in the US you just have to download it from the UBI UK Site. The Ded Server is free but the client is not. I already am patched up so I guess I will not be able to fly tomorrow. Oh well maybe next week.

tks...something I just noticed.... pe-2 is the first in a series of 3 new add-ons.... will the other to make it 4.06 and 4.07?

Yea these addons are the new "Patches". I am really looking forward to the Manchuria addon as it adds some new allied aircraft such as the A-20C and possibly even the B6N (Jap Torp Bomber). At least then we will have a carrier based torpedo bomber... good news for the VT Squads. These are 3rd party addons from RRG. As for the Pe-2 it is very similar to the Ju-88 only much better in my opinion. I really like it's manual bombsight and it seems to be really accurate. It flies around 400kmh in level flight (95/95/rad 2). One little interesting tidbit... it's belly gun (similar to He-111) is AI only and you cannot jump to that spot. Bombadier position is just that- no nose gun other than the one the pilot fires with his gunsight. The Pe-2 can carry up to 4000 lbs of bombs (4x500-FAB) and the Pe-3 can carry 2x250-FAB & 3x100FAB Max. Interesting that even though there is a "Navy" Campaign included they do not carry torps. Bomber only. They are much more maneuverable than the A-20 and B-25... not sure how they would compare to the Ju-88. Will have to see how they compare to the Me-110 as well.

Glad to see you are still around. I haven't flown in a couple of months. Trying to get airborne again. All these patches and timeouts with the servers is killing me. I can't logon to any of the servers anymore, I'm downloading the new patch now in the hope that will help.

I'm sure you all are aware of this. Enables you to switch from 4.04m to 4.05m (or the other way) depending on the server.

1. Download the switcher from here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/hgrks0

2. Open it and read the instructions!

3. Unzip it to your 4.05 Install Main Folder. Instructions are now in your Main Folder.

4. If you didn't read the instructions find files 404.bat and 405.bat and make a shortcut for each on your desktop.

5. Start Hyperlobby with Ctrl+Shift and find the proper executable. Double click and save.

You're DONE

1. Now when you start HyperLobby select the server you want to join, click on the 404.bat or the 405.bat as per the game version the server is running.

2. Start HyperLobby normally.
