In support of our Training Officer I am posting up the CVG-12 Flying Operations Manual (FOM)

Reference - USN Air 1202

Expect corrects from the Training Officer in due course.

Many thanks to CVG-12 for the kind permission to use their manuals until ours are complete.

Would pilots please post to say that you have seen this. There seems little point trying to teach this if no-one is reading it!

I have seen it..posting a topic for forums check in...

I have read the whole thing. And BTW Gos set up and carried out a very fine training exersise for 3 of us last Sun. afternoon. We worked on formation flying to target, dive bombing and recovery, strafing, and CV patterns and traps and deck taxieing. It was very, very helpfull to all that were there. Well done Gos and thanks.

I would like to say that TD's foramtion keeping is the best I have ever seen. Not that I am in the least surprized. Once learned never forgotten. It is just about the best thing one can do in an aircraft. Better than ... ! LOL
