Banned From One Of Our Services?

Tides of War does not take banning people lightly, banning is a last resort.

Most bans' placed on people are of short duration for a first or light offense, here is a general guideline:

1) First ban - Less than 1 hour

2) Second banning - about 24 hours to 30 days.

3) Third banning. If you get to this point the ban is NOT removed and remains permanent unless you make an appeal here.

Tides would like to allow every individual that 'second chance' and a method and procedure to appeal a ban placed on the user, so they can protect their name and character.

Reasons why folks are banned:

1) Cheats. (You will most likely not be given a 2nd chance; there is no excuse for cheating).

2) Language.

3) Manners.

4) Disrespect for others.

5) Illegal Activities.

6) Constantly disregarding rules or policies.

Game Servers:

Game servers have slightly different rules, they vary slightly from game to game as well. The one thing that will get you banned permanently is cheating, you can count on that. Game Ops don't tolerate trouble makers, that will get you banned for x number of days, count on that also.

If you were banned from a ToW Game server, this is the place to state your case. You need to give as much information as possible for ToW to look up and research your incident report. Give Server name, type of game, day, date, time and your name or ID number within the game. It is your responsibility to follow up and make sure you incident report is acted upon. Be nice .. or it won't even be published. Keep reading ...

The above list is not a complete list, but the most likely reason for a ban. Tides of War Code of Conduct and Terms of Service are always applied. Our staff does an excellent job and we feel we are 'fair' to all users; However, we are just human and do make mistakes and errors at times.

If you were banned from a Tides of War service and/or privilege, and you would like to have that ruling reviewed by TowNet upper staff, post your appeal via 'reply'. Your topic title should include the service you were banned from. Be a gentleman. Your post will be deleted if it contains foul or hateful language. You should include in your post as much detailed information as you can remember. (Game logs that can be verified will be taken into evidence).
