Hydraphones & Sonar - Submarines

Know a bit about submarines, and 1 of the major things in making decisions on board one is that you know everything that is going on. If you're at 200m and some DE is dropping DC's on you, you'd want to know... unfourtunately, some of us don't have the best of hearing and can't always tell through the hull of the ship and the whole 200m to the surface. It would be nice if you could put on the hydraphones yourself and listen, or perhaps have your hydraphones operator check in every time a significant event happens... which could be every five seconds, which could get really annoying... so I'd rather just have the hydraphones on. This would allow for better hearing of engines, incoming torpedoes, and, the killer, depth charges.

Is this coming in the future?

Apologies if this is a topic elsewhere.

I've tried to resolve this by turning off the music - which does help with making it a bit more intense, believe it or not - but I can only hear ships when they get within about 200m, can't hear depth charges rolling, only exploding, and can't hear torpedoes (deploying) or k-guns unless I'm above 20m or so, or the torp (moving) is within 100m or so. Can't really hear torpedo hits from far away - the new torp options helped me take out a few subs from a ways away, but other than the "--- destroyed ---- with a torpedo from -----m," I have no other confirmation, and I understand that feature might not be present in MP. So, again, better Hydrophones would be nice.\

This would also allow surface ships to hear if their torpdedoes hit, and if they slaughter a sub, the breaking up of it... if they really slaughtered it, otherwise I'm not sure it would be that loud.

Tyty.

I shouldn't be complaining because I'm a submariner (I suppose I could be surfaced), but if its raining and the wind is howling (those two are always coordinated for some reason...), and your ship is crashing through the waves, I'm not sure its very easy to hear a sub breaking up 20m down. Your hydrophones operator would prolly be able to hear it, but I'm not sure you can.

If my posts are getting annoying, you can just tell me to shushup. Sry if I seem snotty or s'm, that's not my intention.
