Signal Lights

I think a nice little touch to the game would be Signal lights flashing on ships in the distance.

Then we could all use Morse code.

I thought mainly for a asthetic point of view really

I believe that lights on ships are on the TODO list allready, atleast position markers has been debated before, they ofcourse should have an ON/OFF switch so one would be able to hide in the dark (or hide as much as possible, Im not sure we are ever going to be able to hide totally due to how the current tac screen works).

I dont see a need for spotlights as there is no time to move them around trying to locate where all them damned torpedoes are coming from, maybe some AI controlled spotlights could be a possibility, again with an ON/OFF switch.

Morsecode is directly useless and Im sure that no more than a very little handfull even knows the code S.O.S =)

I would still like lights and such though. Purely eye candy but theres nothing wrong with making a game look better.
