I've read somewhere (subsim.com I think) that a future patch will have flyable aircraft. Is that right, or am I just day dreaming?
What's the plan for them? I suppose they'll be always launched from ships. Will that include carriers, or just the odd one catapulted from a destroyer?

As faar as I know the plan is that flyable aircraft will come along during the multi-player. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but they probably won't be available immediately.
The other exciting aspect to the MP will be the 'big ships' that need many players to sail successfully.

How does the curvature of the earth and horizon look from the plane?(some sims show a distinct rounded earth -totaly wrong) How high can the planes go, like do you/can you go through clouds??
How big are the maps in single player for flying planes in, can you go off the map?
Just to reiterate, i *have* the SP version of E:RT -this is questions directed at flying the aircraft in SP
