War has begun around the globe. Imperial Germany suffered a crippling blow after the surprise attack at scapa flow. The americans, not knowing who to trust, have also declared war against the royal navy in exile. The league of free nations, concerned about the Imperial threat to asia has declared war against Germany, while defending their forces in the RNE against the united states. The german fleet was swiftly rebuilt within six months of the bombing, and began armed patrols through all of their territories. The Americans and the League ofFree NAtions quickly built their naval and air forces as well as their soldiery. Rumors of a clandestine group of non faction individuals have been reported throgh piracy on the high seas. This group, found to be well armed and skilled at sea, called themselves the Assasins. The Americans, in an attempt to protect their assets also formed a small of skilled Motor patrol Craft. It truly is a different world, and the stories to be told lie as follows..................

One hundred seventy meters below the chilled surface of the Atlantic, a Salmon class submarine slid silenty through the abyss. Only the faintest hum of it's propeeler blades could be heard, and only by the most sensitive of ears. The warship suddenly began to slow, and a large burst of air and water suddenly overtook the sub. Quickly now the ship surfaced, climbing quickly from the murky depths, and stopped at around seven meters from the smmoth ceiling of shimmering silver. The periscope slid up from the ship's snorkel, making only a faint whirring, as the hydraulics pushed the mirrored pipe above the surface.
" anything, sir?" asked the nevous fist officer, Lietwnant JG Ellis.
" shut up, and go mind the phones, I know the lad heard somethin." The ship's commander replied gruffly. This was Commander Wheeler. A veteran of the Navy by seventeen years, and one of the first to command a submarine. If anyone knew what the sound of the deep was, it was this man. In his early forties, and slightly greying, he was still intimidating to look at. His uniform ironed and not a button out of place, his was the prescence of command.
" Sir, you were right, there is something out there, Only, i'm not sure what it could be? " Ellis said.
" Gotta be something, my gut tells me! "
" Sir! " It was the hydrophone operator Sir, maybe you should come listen to this, I don't think those are a ships propellers "
" Down periscope " Wheeler shouted, turning towards the Hydrophone staition before the periscope could respond.
Ellis dutifully stood by as wheeler displaced the phones operator and donned the head set. The sailor quickly backed away, and glanced nervously between Wheeler and Ellis. It would be his neck if he were wrong.
Wheeler sat at the station for a few minutes, and A myriad of expressions crossed his face, but the one that finally found a home was one of confusion. He slowly turned around in the swiveled chair and thoughtfullygazed at the deck, lips pursed and hands clasped together, with only his index fingers extended.
Quietly he looked up " Surface the boat , I want Comms up in five, get me COMSLANT { Communications, Atlantic} immediatly. Ellis, you have the conn, contact me as soon as we have comms. I will be in the Engine room, speaking with Chief Aubry." With that he strode through the open hatch and headed aft.
Ellis, perp[lexed by the captains odd behavior, slowly began to issue the order again, then went and sat down at the captains stool. " Now I wonder what the hell all this is about ? " He muttered aloud, the crew that were nearest him exchanged glances, wondering the same thing.........
To be continued, I need to know if this column is in anyones interest, or if we should deep six the endeavour.

I would be interested, however, I would prefer a serious storyline, not a comedy one (I know, yours is serious, but I wanna see where it goes first).
Thanks McMaster, glad to know someone out there is paying attention. This whole thing is kinda like MadLibs, the story, or stories as a whole are constructed by various authors. The finished product would be interesting. If someone were to begin a comedy, they would have to start another thread, to respect the theme of a current thread such as this one, which is in the vein of seriousness. but I digress.....
Petty officer second class murdock paced quickly down the lime green hallway of COMSLANT. His footsteps echoing loudly off of the tidily waxed tile. In his hand he held a single piece of paper, which he gripped tightly, for fear of dropping the precious document. He came to a door with the ocuupants name printed in bold letters upon the wired glass. Without knocking, he entered the office of Rear admiral Wells.
" Sir, I think you should see this! " Murdock said, handing the document to the Admiral.
Wells finished writing in his ledger, then looked up as he took the paper.
" what is it, son? " he asked, noticing the flushed look upon the young man's face.
" I'm not too sure, sir, we just recieved it from the Starling." Murdock replied.
" Starling, huh, well she's been out a while" Wells said, looking over the document.
" Well, i'm intrigued" he sighed.
" Sir?"
" Apparently, the Starling has encountered some new kind of vessel in the north Atlantic, with an impressive propulsion technology. Murdock, please phone the Secretary of the Navy, tell him of the situation, and remember, only you, me, the secretary, and the crew of the Starling are to know of this until told otherwise."
" Yes sir!" Murdock responded, curious as to who developed this new type of vessel, and what kind of threat it posed. He turned and left Admiral Wells, not noticing the furrowed brows upon his superiors face.

I'd be interested to see where this goes
A few minor niggles in the grammar and spelling, but nothing too serious.
