Help Here Please

hi i've been playing ERT for about 2 weeks in the english retail version! just realized that there's no MP yet (hope that will change soon) and now i need help on those darn patches (where can i download those) and on the patrol mode, can i just create a mission where i can select my ship? in the same mode, do i need to complete the german mission to play the e-boats?? thanks to all

you need both the 201A and the 201B patch (together around 150MB) those come along with a better mission patrol menu as well, there you will also be able to choose the S-Boot to play.

I have the us north american version. I downloaded my patch from the Warfleet link. It is version 2.1.3a. I am able to play scnellboot, as well as the better selection on patrol menus. just ask Argon and wehrwolf about the schnellboots, they'll tell ya. Mass Fun!!!

thanks very much ppl just downloaded and instaled the two recomended patches! works just fine, graphics improved, ship textures also, and i can "almost" create missions weeeee lol

From the Tech Support FAQ:

Q:) How do I detemine what version of E:RT I own?

A1:) The UK/EU Retail defaults to install to "C:\Program Files\GMXMedia\Enigma Rising Tide",

A2:) The DE/EU Retail defaults to install to "C:\Program Files\GMXMedia\Enigma Rising Tide",

A3:) The AUS Retail defaults to install to "C:\Program Files\Auran\Enigma Rising Tide",

A4:) The US Retail defaults to install to "C:\Program Files\DreamCatcher\Enigma Rising Tide"

Thank you for taking the time to offer a possible solution, however I stopped allowing 'default' directory installations long ago instead opting to decide for myself where things will install.

I did however determine by hit or miss that I indeed have the UK version. Unfortunately the patches simply will not install for me. I have tried re-downloading them, fearing corrupted data to no avail. I don't see much here in the way of threads regarding people with patch difficulties though so I must be in the minority.

I just wanted to verify that I am running what I should. I have the US version and only installed 2.1.3a, is there another patch?

I ask because im not getting a new boat for mission 10, im still in the ship that has 3 torps for the US surface campaign. Im thinking of starting it all over and seeing what I can do.

Also, what is that patch it says "USA/CAN Retail Restart Fix" and another limited Gigex patch or something like that. Do I need these?
