This is a re-enactment of the Matrix when Keanu Reeves was dodging bullets. The artist replaced the bullets with shoes and the face with george bush as a humorous jab at the shoe incident.

(which culturally, btw, was of much more religious significance in the Middle East than us westerners would normally understand.)

The only comment I would make is that the Corsair .. does not seem to be predominant enough .. does not stand out.. almost thought it was a cloud :)I like the 'gold' halo affect on the BSS seal as well..

I know this contest has to end... but it's so much fun, so much talent, so many new ideas flowering off the originals... I sure hope we can keep something like this going... it's a blast!!! (besides, like Kite, I'm finding photoshop a challenge, but would like to try something). Doesn't have to be in the contest tho, as it will probably be pitiful in comparison to all the special effects you all have mastered.

This one is basically the same as the first except for the corsair. I took the old one out and replaced it with a color version and then blended it into the black and white back ground.

The Programs used: Picasa3, Photo Filtre, and Gimp.
