The only way you can contribute is by buying shares/stocks in TAG... They cant use the "contribution" method, I forgot what the reasons was, East explained it a few years ago...

Jconrad - you can really contribute by posting here, staying informed and helping to clear any confusion about the difference between:

MP = LAN

(originally not planned or intended to be released, AND now being created for FREE)

MP = MMOG

(always intended to be released for free download, currently behind schedule, and will come with monthly fees AFTER the first month free for those who owned a single player boxed version)

Stay tuned, talk with people about the game, strategies, and look forward to the next installment of whatever may come. Your supprt will go a long way to relieving stress on those of us who stand ready to explain the semantics to the new guys.. help those who may be lost or confused..

Naturally a lot of feelings because of prolonged delay .

One sees that many are very resolved to play however long it takes , and despite impatience etc , do understand why that is .

A strong folowing . which grows , and as keen as ever about this game .

at least by reading this thread I see there is still some interest in the game and that the MP is still coming. Was kind of worried all was given up on and all I would have is SP mode. Although, the SP is well worth the $$$ spent alone.

this is a great game any way you look at it. Two years old and still better than any other naval sim I have played. name one other sim that allows you to command a DD or DE as well as subs.

I bought this game for the Fletcher class DD. Love it. I would like a SP full blown editor. MP would be fun, but it is worth every penny as a SP game.

I cannot name "one" other sim, but I can name "two" that work together to allow you to play surface or subsurface.. Silent Hunter2 & Destroyer Command.. which link together for multiplay.

However I quit playing those long ago due to their limited experiences, lack of support from UBI, and bugs...

Enigma Rising Tide blows them out of the water, and I can imagine how intriguing multiplay with ERT will be since I have seen the multiplayer experience with Enigma Rising Tide already, even though it was in pre-alpha stage, worse than beta, seriously not ready for prime time.. it was STILL fun !

I will never buy another Ubi product as long as I live. really, they blow. to release the bug ridden trash that that company puts out is ridiculous. Destroyer command was a joke. ERT gets it right. If I can only get my crew to follow my orders!!! right now they are a bunch of screw ups...but I am taming them as I tweak my settings...I am particularly upset with the DC guy. Despite this, ERT is the BEST sim for destroyer lovers...hands down.

But I can only agree, just look at SH3, a half finished, rushed-out-of-the-door, leave it to the players to finish it, just like SH2...

I was contemplating buying SH3 until the MP of Enigma comes out. Now I doubt that will happen. Plus, I'm keeping my hands full on campaign mods as of yet. Hopefully, I will see you all on my radar screen soon. Even if you only stay there those precious few minutes. Hope you all are thirsty....
