do i need this patch ??
i really need the ability to create patrols. (no matter if i need notepading em)

Malou, No. there will be a patch later for the Gold your have that features the editor.

If understand correctly, the UK Gold patch features the editor while the International Gold Edition doesnt?

I just downloaded the patch earlier. where are the new weapons and battleships that were mentioned? i cant find them and theres still the issue with LFN rank braid..... heads up on the features plz guys
Let's clear things up a bit:
The patch is for the original UK release.
It does not contain an EDITOR, it only contains the structure for you to add your own patrols and campaigns (and instructions how).
The International GOLD Edition (3.0.0) does not have this ability, but it will have before Christmas.
The new weapons have been placed on the vehicles where they belong. Check the Freyr Corvette and the LFN Corvette for example (new 2cm Flak and 20mm Oer). The .50cal has also been redone.
Battlecruisers are available in the Patrols AFTER you have completed a campaign (German or LFN).
The Ranks are being overhauled completely - have to live with the wrong braid for Chapter One.
Once everyone has had a chance to download the patch from here, we will be doing a press release and you will see it show up on the main sites (like Gamershell) then.
