wow, thats not nice... I notice they use some sort of p2p client to send the downloads..

I was fortunate... did it late at night and had like 40+ clients sending it. was about same speed as steam for me.

I have noticed that all the top line popular sticks (like the x52) are already setup for controls.

My poor mans Logitech 3dpro was not.. partially was though.. so, I am going thru all the setup for it.

Currently the throttle is kinda iffy...not as responsive or smooth as I wish.. but I assume thats just setting it up better.

Did a few games online.. playing in realistic mode or sim mode takes away all the toys..

Your locked in cockpit and best stay alert! Flight dynamics are not bad..not great..

I do like the one feature in arcadeish mode, to lockon a badguy (one of the toys) and watch a small video inscreen

which keeps track and shows hits.. kinda neat..but yes, gamey!

At present their online play is you create a server ingame and people connect with green bars etc... Was not really a bad experience..

Lacking in people and servers online at the moment (hey, it just came out quitely), when you do find them..it was pretty much lag free for me.

They do mention High ping connections will effect lag and warping..hmm thinking another game does that currently.

Although they say dedicated server software is in the works along with an editor, we have to wait on these.

Seen some posts about model damaging? I got mine set to high settings..I see parts fall off when hit.. I see nice explosion on solid hits..

I also see my plane ripped apart when riddled with gunfire.. actually liked the damage myself.. thought it was well done.

rain or moisture on the windshield when going thru clouds which look simply stunning, is a neat effect!

along with oil streaks on window when hitting enemy close in front or from your own engine. pretty slick! (pun intended)

This is better than waiting a year on BOB, and might just be as good once fixed up a bit!

note: there is takeoff and landings at some nice looking fields.. I have yet to see an aircraft carrier though.

Best thing about this game, I now know it's possible to have a great looking flight game on my current rig.

I was about to upgrade chip and board for one game only..I have since changed my mind..

they can fix the code in that game or I can just play other games. Requirements shouldnt be that steep!

these guys got an excellent game going here on midclass machines and possibly even lower!
