Unplayable? Or Is It Me?

Hello!
For some reason I have been unable to finish a mission without the game freezing.  I have to reboot my machine to regain control...which is pretty annoying.

The reason I am not sure if it's the game or me cause ing this is because I recently installed Sound Blaster Live! on my machine.  I was able to play 2 missions of the English/Japanese campaign before the installation but now it's crash city.

I have all the resolution and things turned right down' date=' but without any success.

My system is an AMD 2000+, 512M RAM, GeForce 2 MX400, Soundblaster Live!

ANy help would be appreciated.

Download the latest SBLive driver from windowsupdate.
Set the directx sound acceleration down to basic or none (info on how to' date=' can be found in plenty of posts in this forum). [/quote']
