MEETING MINUTES FOR BOD MEETING 03/07/2008

Waiting for BBC to send official word to USAAC of who will be there official voice.

Firestorm stated that Popgun and himself will be official voice for BBC.

1.Reviewed New Squad Welcome letter that Director Kid wrote. Letter was accepted by BoD for new squad acceptance.

2.Discussion 1.5 map usage. It was discussed and noted that the map will continue to be used.

3.Discussion on the "Wall of Shame". Everyone one was asked to go to the link provided by Kid so we could review the fixture for the "WoS". Question was asked if this was going to include international pilots. The wall was intended for use by all nations if they choose to do so. Primarily the use is for the USA sysops but may be used by all nations if they choose. New pilots who don't understand the rules will be scolded before they will be put on the "WoS". Continued violations will earn a spot on the WoS whether new or not. Also, discussed was if the account name should be posted along with his Alias name.

Further discussion and vote to be taken at next meeting if account name is to be used. [Move to next agenda].

4.Discussion about LTS League. Test league run to start soon!

5.KOTS League discussion. This an fun event that was introduced by the BBC squad. So far the event is not working too well for most of the the squads due to a lack of pilots. BBC is welcome to continue running the event to encourage more people to show up and play.

6. Closing Comments and Discussion, USAAC should cater to the needs of USA pilots when scheduling fun events. We welcome international competition and encourage and enjoy playing with our international brethren. However, timing fun events should be scheduled for USA time zone use.

If other communities wish to join in there are more than welcome to attend USA events.

7. Closing Comments: UKAAC 2 Squad. USA squads are allowed to make changes in event times and dates if playing other USA squads. Please allow 7 day advanced notice to League Manger.
