Strat 45 Minutes Baron Run

Hey all,

Found a picture of what route to take and what mobs to take on if you want to do a strat 45 minutes Baron run

Excellent stuff wig.....hopefully we can take him down within the time limit soon, all we need is a commited group of 5 players with the right classes.

I found that this setup works the best

Warrior (tank)

Hunter (off tanking etc)

Priest (shackle and healing ofc)

rogue (assit with melee dps)

mage (sheeping and silence pulls)

But saying that ive done it with several different mixture of classes and a group with a druid or even two warriors works just as good.

would definitely sub a druid for the rogue in that list, especially a (partly) feral one, since (a) they can dps but drop out as backup heal if reqd, (8-) rez, and © that's me

For those who are always wondering "What is this all about?" WoW Wiki explains it in more detail, but basically it is part of a quest chain that upgrades your class sets i.e Beaststalker, Valor or Devout. The upgrades aren't fantastic, some are purple (but most don't consider them real epics as they don't have the massive stats) and the chain involves a lot of farming and spending a lot of gold.

I would like to try again on Friday and/or Sunday. Can't wait to get this done so i can get more of the Beastmaster set.

I would like to use the Format of Hunter (Me), Warrior, Mage, Priest and Rogue. I will accept a Druid if for some reason no rogues wish to get involved.

Again i hope to try it several times if we fail the first/second/fifteenth time. So i have set the earlyish time of 13:30 servertime for both days.

Also i would like for everyone who signs up to have teamspeak as it definately helps speed up the process. You don't need a mic just Teamspeak so you can listen to the Tank giving instructions. You can download the client Teamspeak there.

I'd avoid trying to tie yourself down to specific group makeups.

For example, we completed the Scholo epic shammy helm quest the other day - which I gather is considered quite hard, never done it before myself - with a group consisting of Druid, Mage, Priest, Shaman, Warlock. Multiple rez options, good healing coverage and DPS to boot. Not necessarily advocating it as a set-up, just trying to make the point that whatever works, works
