Making Potions For Raids

Major mana and healing potions are pretty much a must for all ZG+AQ raids and resistance pots make boss fights so much easier (like greater fire resistance for bat boss). Therefore all tribes members should strive to have enough potions for their own use on all tribes raids...

I have 300 alchemy and 300 herbalism. I can make for example:

Greater fire resistance potion - got the recipe from guild, thank you all (1x elemental fire and 1x dreamfoil)

Major mana potion (3x dreamfoil and 2x icecap)

Major healing potion (2x golden sansam and 1x mountain silversage)

I'll try to make some extras for guild raids, but unfortunately the ingredients needed are hard to harvest/expensive, so donations are most welcome (thank you deathstare for the big stack of elemental fires). Also if any of you need some of the fore mentioned potions for yourself and have the materials, but lack the recipe, /w me and i'll gladly manufacture them for you.

At the moment the most pressing crafting need that i have is recipe for Major nature resistance potion. I know it is worth a lot of money, so if someone loots it, i will gladly pay gold for it (maybe not the full ah price, but then again the crafted potions will help guid raids). I'll also glady participate in any harvest runs to get the recipe.

Am also a herb/alch. Most commonly I make:

- Major Mana Potions

- Major Health Potions

- Elixir of the Mongoose

Also transmute (with varying cooldowns):

- Arcantite

- 1x Heart of fire -> 3x Elemental Fire

- various essences and bars

Currently I only have the ability to make the standard Fire Protection Potion, and would love the recipe: for Grtr Fire Prot if anyone comes across it. I can also make the Greater Nature Protection potion when we start to need it (mats are Elemental Earth and Dreamfoil - I can farm the earths fairly easily, dreamfoil is a big need as it's used for Major Mana Pots as well).

Am always happy to make pots and do transmutes for guild for free if you have mats, and make pots for occaisional requests as long as I have time to get the herbs; please note that some herbs are slow to farm simply because of demand and number of farmers!

To echo Lost's comments, it is everyone's own responsibility to make sure they have enough pots etc for each run; I am happy to make things for anyone if you can bring/send the mats to me, and will always try to bring extra where possible, but do not have enough time to farm for everyone

As.

As soon as my priest gets to 60 i will start to farm the herbs for the pots. He's 300 herbalism now, but up until now i'm concentrating more on leveling then gathering. My second skill is tailoring, but i will drop that for alchemy as soon as i made the truefaith vestment (anyone up for Strat Scarlet Side for the recipe drop? )

I appreciate the difficulty with farming ingredients, after finally getting mana potion recipe I'm also farming that myself....dreamfoil is a pain!!

Since i don't have the time to be in all raids and stuff, i'll make myself usefull as gatherer...........

I'll send as much as i can effort......... (i gotta make a living too) and since 10 dreamfoil sell for about 10g sometimes... i will be filling up my bankslots with herb bags.... so if you need any herbs.... let me know

im thinking about dropping mining and go for herbalism so I can help out more too..since Elusive is mining 300 also and its much handier to go mining stealhed, maybe it would be nice for me to help out since I hate looking for mines anyway.

Btw Lost I hope you don't loose too much moneys...meaning I hope you are not busting your ass off for the same people each raid since we all need to contribute but I don't know who you are giving them to or something but just worried that you are being too nice a guy
