Evasion

Hi all

I know I have seen it here somewhere, but since the board has been re arranged, I am having difficulties finding it. " IT " being evasion tactics. I am trying to figure out how to slip the noose that the guys up top keep throwin on me so I can send em down to meet davy jones. How does the ASDIC work? And hydrophones? Also, without the patch, does silent running offer any benifits? Cause I run silent, but they are always droppin cans on me? Any Help?

Setting game to " Difficult" rather than "Easy" , will mean the enemy also has more difficulty . ( Thus making it ' easier ' for you ! ) and will be more like multi-player .

One third speed is good ,; Go to flank and alter course.when depthcharges explode , and ten seconds after , slow again. During the ten seconds it will be very difficult for you to be detected .

It depends on whether vthere are multiple enemy vessels hunting on the surface , but try to seize the opportunity to attack them , otherwise , going deep

Subs are detectable at greater depth at greater range. The asdic is like a cone .

thanks i tend to run at flank at periscope depth. slowing should help. and I generally make it habit to try and sink everyone. >;(
