Will This System Work With Ert?

I am using the following specs for my new system and want to be sure I am not going to have any conflicts:

-CPU/Pentium 4 2/8 or 3.0 HT 800mhz FSB 512 cache

-MOTHERBOARD/intel Desktop Board D875PBZ-Intel 875P

-MEMORY/ 512 or 1gig Corsair DDR SDRAM PC-3200 (2x512 for 1gig)

-VIDEO CARD/ ATI Radeon 9800 XT 256mb 8x AGP

-SOUND CARD/ Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2ZS 7.1

-CDRW/ 52x24x52x (Not sure what brand yet)

-CD DVD/ 16x DVD (Not sure what brand yet)

-80 or 120 gig HD 7200 or 10000 RPM (not sure yet.)

Ha anybody had any problems with ERT using any of these components??

You don't say which OS - I recommend Win2K Pro or XP Pro.

Since it looks to be a pretty slick system youre building, you probably want to go with 768MB or 1GB RAM.

From what I've seen in other posts, the main issues folk have had problems with are certain Nvidea gfx cards and SB Live cards - the ones you've picked look safe bets. However, since I don't own either of the ones you specify, I can't state that categorically!

That system will work very good for any game from now and prolly 2-3 years ahead.

Sounds good to me. Youve made a good choice running an ATI card with a P4, rather than nvidia.
