Please Have Your Fireextinguiser Ready

Here in Australia I found a tip on saving on my power bill. Turn everything off that is on standby DVD's videos, TV's chargers, etc. etc, my power bill dropped $30 dollars in 3 months. Watch the meter dial on your power meter and you will see it slow down dramatically! Thought it was all crap till I tried and tested it. Everything was switched off on the appliance but not at the source of power the powerpoint.

If you have problems with your PC bios after doing this your computer probably needs a new internal battery (life 3 years average). The batteries on your UPS, (uninteruptable power supply,)if you use one, need replacing on average every 2-3 years. PSU's are responsible for many untraced faults in computer systems and many times I have replaced the battery and solved the problem!. It's so easy to do for everyone and for those who spend $80 for a techie, try this first, the battery only costs $3.00!. Feel free to email me if you don't know how to go about this or where to find it. Symptoms usually begin with beeping on boot up or blank screen on boot up. count the beeps long and short ones and and put pen to paper and record them.
