When it is released will multiplayer allow you to have many people on one ship, different gunners etc?
Yes, we plan on letting multiple people fight in one ship because we know how much people will enjoy getting in a ship with a bunch of friends. Probably can't tell you any more details about how we are going to do that right now though.
The reason i asked is that somewhere someone said you wanted suggestions. Hows this. Instead of just respawning have an abandon ship option. You pilot your little raft and if you make it to a friendly ship you can take up a position. I'm sure theres a thousand reasons why its not practical, but you have to admit its a nice idea (and a slightly more realistic option).
that idea sounds good, but might scare people away from playing, hence you can drift for days before an ally spots you.
If I remembers right, the game will feature a 1:1 world map, which makes a lifeboat pretty damm small:D
We do intend to allow rescue. We weren't able to complete it to the level we wanted for singleplayer but it will be in multiplayer (you send an SOS, your buddies - hopefully - send help).
