I have been promising for some time to get this forum up and running for you folks... well now its here.
Actually the game provides almost everything needed including forums etc, but there is no place like home.. and this is "home" for the ToW Fleet. We hope to be able to cut to the chase here.. as you will find that "finding" information that you really need might be very time consuming on the official site.. and not always relevant to the needs of the current players.. and sometimes simply out of date as the game evolves and changes quickly. But i suspect what it really all boils down to is the social aspect .. its just plain not as fun to play and learn alone!
A few of you have hooked with with each other or me from time to time and we shared missions etc.. and it was one royal fun time! Much more fun than playing .. alone. Space is cold enough, we can warm it up a bit.
What we need .. is a way to nicely communicate.. and that we have with Team Speak 3. ToW has a nice Team Speak and you should join in each time you play. I have made another 'sticky' post to explain Team Speak etc.
If your a Fleet member .. questions and problems you might have .. you should use this Fleet HQ forum. This forum has no password as yet.. but it will have in the future. Otherwise your free to use all of the site etc.. especially the STO Data Bank. STO Data Bank will have the maps and charts that one really needs.. as well as crafting information. These sorces are collected works from around the net and other dedication STO sites .. I see no need to recreate the wheel
