Trying To Make An Appearance

I have been tooling around with making missions and the like, for custom patrols. So far I got the EMS files all done and ready, but I haven't been able to test them. My problem is the fact that I cannot make the drop down box state 'Custom', so therefore I can't play the missions. I've looked through the localization.txt file, and have my added information exactly as it should be (according to the guide that was included.) My index.pkg file also is as what the guide states. I have only created one mission so far, and my .cgn file correctly states the one mission. I also have the other folder labeled 'CustomPatrols' with the EMS file in it. I'm still tooling around with what to do to get the danged thing to appear, but to make my job easier, I'm hoping someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

Did you read the part about seperating some fields with spaces, and others with tab key?

Both make an invisible difference in your document and its possible you mixed up one for the other.

Yes, I did read that part, and verified that all of my added text to the files was correctly spaced. Maybe if someone could send me their files (that have the Custom Missions part added) I can compare to see if I made a mistake somewhere.

I am also reinstalling the mission editor and my custom files due to a recent pc wipe.. got rid of a bunch of junk, and Enigma is now happily relocated in the prime real estate portion of my hard drive.. things run much smoother after a good pc cleaning.
