I Found Some Tricks Surviving The Sfc Mission

If you have allies going with you, dont show off your bravery by heading ahead. Instead, fall back like a coward :-)its just a computer a game right? ) Let the other ships fight the frontline, preserve your hull integrity as much as possible. but dont stay too far away, give enough fire support for your brave allies. Like in mission 9, my merchant ship sank the DD. in mission9, i stayed the outmost of the format, my other 3 DDs sacrificed for the victory, their sacriface gave me enough hull interity to sustain the bombers, and got the enough time for the 2 subs, I won!

I wonder why it is that games in the "command" genre ALWAYS make it an almost required tactic to send the boys on the other ships, who's lives are put in your hands by your commanders, to their death simply because if they die, the mission goes on, but if you die, it's over...

Of course, you'd think that with the high attrition rate in AI crews, their gunnery would be a lot worse. I seem to always have a problem with my crews. They couldn't hit the side of a battlecruiser if my ship was tied to the side of it, but the AI ship's gunners could hit a man in a life jacket at 8k metres. bash:

Oh well. Just prepares me for all the l33t d00ds out there that can command their ship well and still man the guns.

enigma!:
