Bear Hibernation

Hiya,

Have been considering this for a while, and the time has finally come for this bear to go into hibernation from WoW, as I've decided I need to focus my time and energies elsewhere. I haven't decided whether this will be a complete 'stop', will have to see how things go.

With regard to the management/leadership of the guild, I'll resolve that with the officers before leaving; I'm not planning on deleting my characters, I don't want to be too rash so will either leave Asb in DV or move him to FI depending.

I've met lots of great people through WoW, with the earlier years(!) in FI and subsequently through DV, lots of very decent, helpful and friendly people, and hope will stay in touch with many - the social side will be the thing I will miss most. DV has made some excellent progress through the later instances recently, and I hope will continue on in that same way.

Finally I wish everyone the best both in life and wow, and maybe see you around from time to time either in-game or outside, who knows.

Damn i hate be without net connection as i would have liked to say good byes in person. It has been a pleasure to know you in wow and play with you. I am not sure if wow will be the same anymore without the dual Asba+Bux bear tanks. After 4 weeks of forced wow break due to isp, i can safely say that real life is over rated

I hope you log online every now and then to see how we are doing or maybe log on Vorps char if you're not continuing your subscription (unless Vorp is leaving wow too)...and if you decide to try another mmorpg, post your ingame name and server.. we might meet in 'another life' some day:)

sucks to hear but as always RL comes first. and hell it's a game, you don't have to do it against your will.

as for deleting characters... how do you even dare ponder about that! (if you'd be really sick of wow you could at least sell your account )

and damn, i was hoping to tank beside you in a 25man one day...

I know we haven't always agreed (or always haven't agreed )... but I've enjoyed playin with you all the same.

Sbeen a pleasure to have met you, in both game and real life, and as others have stated if/when you try a diff game / reality leave a message so we can stop and say hi.

And I think most of us will agree you have been a cornerstone in bringing endlevel raiding to us tribe-members and I thank you for your effort and persistance.

all i can say is that damn i will miss you a lot and i really hope this will be just a short thing till this damn real life makes a spot for wow again for u.....very very sad day for me and i think all of us but my all the best in the world be with u Asb u are really a great person and a great friend and i will miss you a lot. Was a real honour to play with you and i know i will miss you a lot. /hug

wow i really dont beleave were losing prob the best tank, best guild leader and prob the best guy on any server there ever was/will be this is a tremendous blow to us and all wow players losing the nicest kindest and lovelyest guy there is. But as others have seid rl does come first and i dont blame you for leaving i really do hope you pop back now and then so atleast us who arent playing at the mo can say goodbye personally cause you will be very very very missed asb. If yuou do start another mmo i think you would have half the guild going with you cause you r just that nice and friendly so do tell us if you do so we can all join you

I am very sorry to see you go As ... you have been a great inspiration to all as many who have known you longer have said. I hope you and Vorp enjoy time and that your RL gets more full and fun .. especially in this lovely summer weather. It will be a great blow to the guild and to those who have gamed with you for so long .. but hopefully you will come back and see us every now and then and we can show you the legacy you and the officers and all the members have worked hard to produce in the guild !!

Congratulations As, on taking this decision for yourself. You've earned it like no other. I had the same emotions in November last year and loved the time off. I also loved my return in february that felt like coming home. As far as I'm concerned I'll try to give you that feeling in any guild, group or herd I'll ever be in if/when you return. You're a very caring, giving and kind person in game and out. Meeting you in Tilburg was awesome. The off-chance of being in the same converence centre and you having some spare time resulted in a fun meal with Lizz and Yorga.

I think it was promised that maybe our roads may once again cross in Holland, and I'll give you a big hug then. You and Vorpid have had a soft corner in my heart ever since we joined the guild. Not being able to play with you anymore does make me a little sad, but everyone needs to listen to their hearts and do what makes them happy! Lots of love and luck for you from me!

As other said it before me, u will be missed. But in the end RL is more important than a game. I hope u'll find the time 2 stop by from time to time and to say "Hi", because u'll find here only friends that miss u. I wish u the best of luck and as I said, dont be a stranger
