Great Balls of FIRE! LTS, Wednesday 04/16/2008

It's been quite a while since I made an eyewitness report on the weekly LTS fun events, so I've been thinking about writing on them again.

Last Nights LTS was probably one of my personal best performances, especially with the high caliber pilots that were flying. It could of been that for one night I didn't change planes and stayed with the BF-109K4 throughout the night. I've only used this plane in LTS a couple of times in LTS before. I have always seen them coming at me, but I just didn't think I had the abilities to handle that plane in such a fast action game.

The Game started pretty much on time with Popgun handling the reffing duties for the night. Popgun always does a nice job of setting up these fun events and always seems to have something ready and new for us to try. Keep up the good work Pop!

Last night was also one of the first times we didn't have much interference from people not understanding the rules. The game ran very smoothly. I guess the worst part of the night was, at least for me was that my PC was having little mini freezes during the first half of the game. It cause me to have a couple of crashes on takeoff and I took out of my SU team mates because of it. Sorry guys!

SU started a little slow, but was able to fight back the GE team. It was head to head, round to round action and wound up going to a tie breaker round. That was most likely my fault though because in the 8th and final round I chased Breeze all the way cross the map until I lucked up and got the kill. When I finally got turned around heading back to the action, I think it was Badman and Joe Pilot had just finished off T-Bone. Which left me by myself against 2 really top notch pilots. I had the high altitude over both but Badman was closest and high to me, so I dove down in between the two and came in hard on Badman's Six. He turned hard as I let loose with the cannons and I missed and tired to follow. I knew it wouldn't be long before Pilot would be coming in so I tried to roll opposite Badman and started taking hits from Pilots. I rolled out of that only to get intercepted again by Badman. Thus ended the chance for SU to take the win with out a tie breaker. Did I think had a chance?? Not on your life, but I was still going to give it a try.

Speaking of try, If you haven't played LTS, you should, It's a very fun game and the play is usally fast action. PLEASE BE SURE TO READ AND KNOW THE RULES BEFORE ATTENDING THE GAMES. It makes it a lot more fun for everyone if you know a little bit about what goes on.

LTS starts at 9:00 PM EST (Washington DC time) Every Wednesday Night! See you there!

For now this is JokeR Signing off!
