Last nights LST proved once again that communication is the key to winning. SU (Red team) started slow last night against the GE (PURPLE TEAM). The First two rounds where a total mess. No one was talking. People where going and doing their own things and such. It really made a mess of things.
The GE team was dominating having 6 and 7 pilots still flying after the 1st couple of rounds are over with. When thrid round came things started to even up a little more. From 4th round on the SU team was able to handle the GE them pretty easily.
COMMUNICATION on TS is what does it. Knowing who is chasing what plane. Knowing who sees what enemy. It all makes a big difference.
By the way, we did notice some real "ringers" flying with the GE team. Most likely a few good team mebers from a squad who will remain nameless to protect the guitly parties involved. It did not matter because the SU team "keyed in" on these guys, and once out of the way the rest was a little simpler.
COMMUNICATIONS: GET TEAM SPEAK, DOWNLOAD IT AND USE THE PROGRAM. Its so easy a JoKeR like me can use it. Join the USAAC team speak, pick the team you want to fly with ( SU or GE) and jump on the channel and start talking. Its a blast to hear what is going on in the game. It helps you become a better pilot also.
The LTS event is played every Wedensday night at 9:00 PM EST. We love to have you flying with us. Come on in and play. You don't need to belong to a squad to fly in the game.
