Beside the "Friendly Kills" Tbar mentioned which we need to avoid on our 2 squad competitons..
I noticed also that many pilots like 3 or 4 are going after only one pilot from the opposite squad..
1 or 2 max is enough v 1..we need to organize more at least by common sense...and those extra pilots should go after new targets..we need to use the Map more often.
we should avoid doing this little mistake too, to get the most out of our half time and make more kills and get a better score on our next matches.
I posted this same notice to Squad Mailer for it's importance.

Thats a very good point Coldfire. Yes there way too many of our pilots chasing just one enemy plane.
Remember that this is a team sport. You don't have to get the kill for your team to win. If you make a hit and someone else can move in and get the kill, just move on to the next target.
Look at it this way if we have only six pilots in a match and 4 pilots end up chasing one enemy plane, that means we have lost 75 percent of our fire power in that match. WHY??? because now the enemy team has 75 percent of it team going after our last 25 percent doing the battle. Its a NO WIN SITUATION FOR YOUR TEAM. THEY HAVE DISTRACTED YOU AND YOU HAVE GIVEN THEM THE ADVANTAGE!!
Sunday, we may be facing this very scenario with USHA. In there last match, they had more than ten pilots show up for the match but only elected there six best to fly. That means the opposing team had to
match them with only six pilots also. This could happen to us. We may be forced to fly only six pilots.
I surely hope not, but we'll have to see what there will be planning to do.
PAY ATTENTION IN THE GAME.
1.USE YOUR MAPS AND YOUR F7, F8, F9 VIEWS.
2.DO NOT HAVE MULTIPLE PLANES CHASING ONE ENEMY PLANE.
3.WHEN IN THE GE PLANES ZOOM AND BOOM, HIT AND RUN ONLY. DON'T TRY TO TURN FIGHT.
4.USE YOUR TEAM SPEAK AND COMMUNICATE YOUR SITUATION. LET EVERYONE KNOW WHAT YOU SEE.
5.IF YOU ARE OUT BY YOURSELF AND YOU HAVE A COUPLE OF ENEMY PLANES CHASING YOU, TAKE THEM AWAY FROM YOUR HOME BASE.
6. START AND KEEP THE BATTLE GOING OVER THE ENEMY BASE NOT OURS! WE NEED THE PIN!
7. WE NEED THE FIRST KILL IN EACH HALF!! THIS GIVES US 5 POINTS IN EACH HALF.
8. AVOID TEAM KILLS. TEAM KILLS VERY OFTEN HAPPEN WHEN THERE IS MORE THAN ONE PILOT CHASING A ENEMY PLANE.
9. AVOID NEEDLESS CRASHES ON THE RUNWAY AND DURING GAME PLAY. YOU MIGHT OF HEARD THIS BEFORE, LOOK LEFT <<<>>> BEFORE CROSSING THE STREET. SAME THING APPLIES ON THE RUNWAY LOOK <<<>>>. IF YOU USE YOU F9 KEY YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE VERY WELL ON THE SCRAMBLE. ONCE YOU GET STRAIGHT ON THE RUNWAY SWITCH TO YOUR FORWARD VIEW.
10. IF YOU ARE NOT FLYING IN THE MATCH AND ARE STATIONED ON THE US BASE AS AND ALTERNATE, STAY OF THE AA COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND TRY NOT TO INTERRUPT TEAM SPEAK.
YOU JUST MIGHT COST YOUR TEAM A KILL IF YOU DO.
We'll be having a practice session starting at 12:00 PM EST WASHINGTON DC Time before the match.
It will last about 1 hour then about a 15 to 20 minute break and meeting then its time to put on our game faces on and fly our hearts out again!!!
SEE YOU ALL THERE!!!!

I can think of 2 reasons why too many pilots going after one bandit:
1)You or the pilot engaging did not make it clear that you or he is gonna take care of it.
-COMMUNICATION
2)Some get target fixated, and like JoKeR said, are way too eager for a kill. Let your other guys handle it if they have it under control.
- Situational Awareness
I have found myself chasing after 1 pilot with 2-4 guys already ahead of me lots of times. Communication can be fixed by well...communicating. Picking a wingman is different. You must team up with the nearest pilot(s) and let them know you are watching their back. If there is 3 or even 4 winging together then when the lead dives DON'T ALL FOLLOW. I can remember lots of times when Tbar would say "I'm in" and well we would try to be great wingmen but mess up at the start by all diving with him to the deck where we were of no use to him anymore. Sometimes I laugh at that because if we successfully shot the bandits down he would say something like "Alright good job, now who ever is flying top cover watch our backs while we gain speed and alt." and he looks in the rear view and we are all on the deck. We have to fix that. Formation of 4 would be like the movies, 2 dive and 2 stay up. If there's 3 pilots, which happens a few times, and the lead dives for an attack then 1 or both should stay up and provide top cover. I personally think that only 1 pilot out of 3 should stay up top because of the fact that the lead might not get the kill and end up with some one turning towards him and shooting him up because he couldnt get out of range in time and had no one to pickup the pieces. To organize an attack like that you would need to communicate so you know who does what.
Very long rant. Its 2:00AM and I dont know if I am thinking straight. Might not make sense and there may be stupid points that will get you killed in there. Just call them out to me.
Oh yea I got the computer back but I don't have a new microphone yet

Great Lesson Jonny,
Yesterday we did a little of both. Our more experienced pilots did pretty good about not not all attacking one target. Our new guys, of which there where quite a few did quite catch on. but the will soon.
Glad to have you back. Now Stay out of trouble and lets hope we can find you a mic real soon.
