Two Fighter Wings In Us Squad

Hi Guys and Gals,

As a way to help us expand and grow and to become a better combat team I have split the US squad in to two fighter wings. Red wing which will be commanded by Strife and Gold wing will be commanded by Jonny. These guys have shown a commitment to the squad by showing up and flying with us on a consistent basis. Furthermore, I think that by doing this it will help all of us to become better pilots if we have guys we can help rely on for training. I'm sure that will do a great job for us.

All of you should have a copy of the ACM. Most all of the training that we do will be referenced from that manual. Hopefully everyone will be on the same page and will gain some knowledge from the book. It's diagrams will be very helpful in showing you how the maneuvers are performed. We'll have a little home work to do by reading this stuff and we should try to practice these on our practice days together as a squad and then go over these maneuvers on our individual squad practices ( Euro and US ). It might take a week or two for us to get the concept, but hey its all in fun. I'll help out by directing the Red and Gold wings on what we should be looking at for practice each week. We'll start with the basics and work our way up.

All of the US pilots will be assigned to a wing. That does not mean it is a permanent assignments. We'll move people around as needed to make sure that everyone is on the same page and try to make everyone as happy as we can.

For all of you older squad members who have been flying AIR Attack with the squad for a while, your help is much needed in the training area. If you see something that doesn't quite look right be sure to speak up.

Also, EVERYONE NEEDS TO HAVE TEAM SPEAK WORKING IF AT ALL POSSIBLE! If you need help ask someone. Its not that hard to download and use, and it will make the game much more enjoyable for you.

Hopefully we'll get to the point where we can have some inter squad matches as well as inter wing competitions. If we give this try I think we'll find out we'll come to be a more cohesive fighting unit in the skies of Air Attack.
