A Couple Of Things I'd Like To Ask...

#1
Firstly, im having some very unfriendly encounters with my framerate, especially if i hav'nt run the game in a while. I have the graphics all the way down, and yet i've seen worse computers than mine play it smoothly. I have:
Windows ME

AMD Athlon

1000 MhZ

im meant to av a geforce 4 but i think the chap that did it screwed it up big time, so i think its only a geforce 2  :(

Please giv me sum feedbak on how to improve frames

And lastly

I've read here in the forums sumwere that enigma online, would b freeware, but the he spoke of being charged monthly for it  :?  could sum1 please tell me wther it is free or costs money (if you could tell me wot it costs in ? Sterling please, that would be gr8), and also when it will b out, i've herd a couple of dates, but no-one seems sure from wot i've read

thanx
To increase framerate, you can do a couple things, some may work some not...
1: turn sound hardware acceleration down to basic or none (start->run type dxdiag click ok, in dxdiag click on the sound tab and move the level of acceleration down, then hit exit.

2: stop all unneeded background tasks, (antivirus, etc)

3: upgrade from ME to XP ;)

The ERT MP client will be free of charge, but then you will have to pay a monthly fee, it has not yet been decided what the exact fee will be, but around 10 USD (which is ~6 GBP).
This  thing about  calling the client  "  Free "  and    " Freeware "  has  confused some  .    Let's  hope it will be  an equivalent to  no more than  $10  !!  a  month .
The multiplayer client will be a free download.  The multiplayer game is a subscription game.
If you purchase a singleplayer game, you receive a free month of FULL access to multiplayer (to offset the cost of the purchase).  If you only download the multiplayer client then you will have limited free access to the game so you can decide if you wish to subscribe or not.

This is a business, we have to pay for the servers and bandwidth (and development costs) somehow.  We intend to do it by giving you a gaming experience that you cannot get anywhere else.

Hope that clears it up.
