Website Info For Snatf

I made a few more changes to SNATF this week, so be carefull of "upload" before you "download" any templates or important files

What I would like to do is meet with you when you have time to devote to this subject. I know you are not 100% up on HTML and so forth, so what I have been doing is setting up templates and procedure so that nearly anyone can keep the site up to date. Once you know this fully, you can change things to meet your style and ways of doing things. I would like to give you a breif of "how to" and how it is all set up for ease of use and well as how it all ties into the forums etc.

1) changed the file structure for 'pic-of-the-week' and storing missions. Each mission info is now stored in a directory of its own. The file name is the 'date' of the event so you can use these again next year if you like. Date formate is year, month, day. This formate will 'sort' out in a logical order when you view the files in a list.

2) Changed the 'ticker' text to advertise what SNATF is in need of.

3) Changed the 'breifing' template slightly so it would display better in the main window.

4) made minor changes to the 'slide show" templates so we can manage them better as well as use them 'off site' .. not the forums usage in the recent 'results' for XIX

I will be installing a very minor but helpful "admin" directory so there will be some handy links and info for "helpers". I won't pw this area at this time as there is nothng really there for anyone to cause trouble with or any confidential infomation.

Wow you have been busy. I appreciate all the time and effort you and Gosling have devoted to this. I have no complaints. All seems to be well. I can meet you on TS tomorrow evening say after 7 PM eastern.
