Those of you with broadband may enjoy a video I put together of my simulation of a Royal Navy torpedo sight of 1909 called the pattern 2006. Without question it is the most accurate depiction of such equipment anywhere.
You can view the video from
http://www.dreadnoughtproject.org/sim
There is another video there of a Dumaresq being used, but that one has no explosions
Wait til you see the Dreyer Fire Control Table!
Sadly, the sim is not a game per se and quite balky, so I really only offer videos of its use at the moment.

At last , ; The solution ! Build one of those things ! Because the math otherwise is too complicated , and I would collide with that streetlamp on Atlantic City sidewalk , someone warned about !
Simple ! Why didn't I think of it before ..a three dimentional submarine slide rule . !

There is one MINOR tweak you may need to consider: your periscope is not right on the torpedo tube but some small distance behind it. If you want to not ignore this error, you'd have to support something akin to what on the 2006 is called the "Tangent Arm".
The tangent arm on the 2006 wouldn't suffice as I think it can only help when your sight is not in line with the line of fire.
I scanned the pertinent portions of the manual:

PS:
If you liked these videos, I put together a 90 second "trailer" that shows more of what is in my sim. You can see this as the new "Introduction" film at

Hey tone, this is Jima from the Rough Raiders squadron and still using an older version of RW with a couple old squadies. Best thing that ever happened to MP gaming.
Looking forward to see what next your working on.

hey jima... I remember you!
I miss the old WB days a LOT. Did you ever participate in my Battle of Trafalgar or Battle of Jutland scenarios? Sadly, I lost the first website during a webserver re-org, and don't see you as a registrant in the other. In case you'd not participated, these were naval battles recreated with bombers! Very funny stuff, and people felt they actualy captured the sense of naval action (a sure sign of how you can fool yourself if enough gloss is layered on).
Check out the old Jutland website for the event at
http://battleofjutland.com/wb/
A Brendo video of how this looked in practice can be found at
http://battleofjutland.com/wb/movies/jutlandpreview.mpeg
It was a major lark!
