Ok I have sunk 3 subs in 30 seconds, has taken me about 20 trys, now I am heading for the 4th sub and it submerges as the 3rd sub explodes!
Am I stupid or did I read somewhere that the patch would make it easier? (yes its set to easy)
Am I stupid or this mission may say 60 seconds however its not giving me more than 40 seconds.
East or anybody can it be completed after that 60 second barrier can I sink the DDs and come back for the sub?
Otherwise I am going to borrow a friends missions to get to play with the BBs
Thanks in advance

Wonders how a sub can be sunk , and isn't it two DEs not DDs which are on the way.?
So, whichever it is , with four torpedoes , how .
This is one of the most difficult missions .
I think someone gave up and figured out a way around .
No time to even watch the subs exploding on this one ,,,,

Yeah this was the mission I really lost count of how many times I tried before I first finally did it. And often continuing in the other two factions and surf and sub , and then returning to this mission . For many weeks I believed I would never get further , and when I had reached the end of nearly all other five sub and surface ,,,,, at last !!

At LAst will be a good feeling LOL
BUT I have picked up something in the help thread I didnt notice before, one guys says a good thing in that the subs dont move.
Now I know they turn cos I have watched them, but if they are not underway I may be able to aim in a limited area and try and hit them from the start or very close to it LOL
wish me luck!

Yes , it is a good feeling , when finally done . !
Yes , if your aim is at least going to hit the ends of them ,it will probably be okay .
They don't evade , or seem to alter turning speed or direction .

Here is the way I did it ahead 1/3 hold course untill u see the first one pop up. Launch port tube. Set course 090 youll see the second one starboard tube launch. Ahead 2/3 I then use the steer keys to find the next starboard torp fire. Same for the 4th fire port torp fire.
It can be done make sure ur torps are on target

After succeeding , and many later ' experiments ' on this mission , I go flank speed instantly ( saying ' Ahead flank ! ". even before the mission loads ! )
I am in spectator view , and looking around , fingers on the SDF keys !
Mouse turning the view , left and right .
There is no time for anything but sinking the four targets , and without fail .
It is really all on the threads so far , not much to add .
Occasional hard port/star , but mainly the keyboard , it needs fine tuning to ensure each torpedo strikes .

Another tip I found that seems to work (atleast to my best knowledge.. or I got really lucky) is that they stay AROUND 50 meters after they dive, if you get far enough away you can set your fish to 50 meter depth and let'em go... and hopefully like me you'll manage to get the last one doing that.. I did this:
Torp 1: 15 Meters
Torp 2: 20 Meters
Torp 3: 30 Meters
Torp 4: 50 Meters
While it was diving, the third one hit it....
So you might want to try that if your up to it
