Thanks GhostCat, I past over V-8 by inches. I had to cut my speed down to 1/3 but I was expecting a head on collision at any moment.

I've always liked cutting into reverse and turning out of the way. It just gives me a false sense of security

I never though to take a ss of one mission I was about 80 meters up the clacker of an oiler LOL take about screws in ya face hehehe

ive had some similar very close kills. i tell myself that "im sneaking past the hulk for sonar cover..."

It's not hard to kill boats close-in. Infact, one time I sank myself on accident when I hit a Flower-class corvette with two torpedoes and got wiped out by the splash damage! wave: buxton:
