I'm fed up with these #@&%& hedgehogs. Not only are they difficult to aim with, but also completely useless. I hit a type VII six times with my mortar and did nothing.

They are - in fact more effective against surface ships than subs

I got lucky with them a few times !

Oh , against surface ships ? Yes I tried that too. Using depthcharges set to zero -one , as well , at extreme close range !! LOL

Kinda funny. I bet that never happened in real life.

But I have to agree. Hedgehogs are not easy to aim nor are they accurate. But the once in a while successful hit with them is very satisfying.

I bet this'll be a "trick shot" in multiplayer - to get a bomber with hogs

My point about that mortar is, that if it's so difficult to hit anything with it, we should at least be able to see some results. I understand one, two, or three hits. But six? Am I hunting titanium-made Akulas here? hmmm:

Hog damage has been upped in the patch. They are still tough to use, but the secret is the ANGLE at which you approach the enemy.
