Hate always having to use mouse at high speeds. I'm trying to pilot a PT boat at full speed while zig zagging, keeping the target in my sights but I totally lose control when I have to try and hit that damn little green torpedoe button. The same problem with other mouse controls such as being on the bridge and looking around with out binoculars. Why aren't there more keyboard commands for all the mouse controls you have to go thru??

I agree, I like keyboard commands. I get RSI from too much mousework.

The best would be to make all possible commands programmable and let the user assign any command to any key. Of course, defaults would be in effect after installation.

only keys I use is 'space', and 'p' when i need to visit the can

The reason I'm asking is because most mouse commands are bound to keys. I wanted to know which ones you wanted that we don't already have.

You do know that

"S" is rudder to port 3 degrees

"D" is center rudder

"F" is rudder to starboard 3 degrees

for example.

I use a thrustmaster gamepad to when piloting the PT boat and when firing guns. It helps a lot when manuevering both. It would be nice to be able to fire them from external veiw as well. I know it is not realistic but why not in single player? It should have an option to keep out when multiplayer comes out but in single player it should be up to you.

Anyway just a suggestion.

You can use voice commands for firing weapons. Key binds for 3rd person weapons firing does not exist.
