Tides of War

In this mission you are shadowing a Yankee convoy when a trio of League Corvettes attack, taking out the American escorts and then slaughtering the slower convoy ships.

My question is this: HOW THE BLAZES DO YOU COMPLETE THIS MISSION?

Keep following the the tankers/merchants, let the USN CV's take the fight with those RNE CV's. if youre lucky the USN will win but most likely the wont. but they will cripple the RNE some...

As your orders is never to leave the convoy out of sight you will have to Engage the CV's with your AFT tube.

You just have to stall the RNE till the convoy has sailed a bit.

So you dont actually have to sink any of them.

*HINT* Do NOT surface or pivot 180.

After the victory message ....SINK EVERYTHING ! lol

Don't pivot 180 degrees? Hmmm, I did and I passed the mission easily.

When the mission starts, I immeadiately did a pivot turn to face the flower class corvettes, and put my engines in full reverse. As soon as the american corvettes had taken a heading towards the LFN, I came to periscope depth and fired four torpedoes at the closest LFN ship, two slightly to its right, and two slightly to its left. As soon as my torpedoes reloaded I did the same to the next closest LFN, and then the final one. You don't have to sink all three, I only sunk one and damaged another when I beat the mission. Just experiment to find the best tactic that suits you. Good luck!
