So I have my new pc coming in next week and I am not a fan of Windows 8 from what I've heard but would like to get hands on knowledge of your experiences. If you have Windows 8, how does it work with the games you have?

Windows 8 (actually 8.1) doesn't give me any problems with games.The app section is obsolete if you aren't using a touchscreen or if you are desktop orientated. Some apps - like Skype - don't work. You have to download the desktop version.
