Just what the title says. I got everything the game came with but the small piece of paper with the cd key on it. Ive searched high and low for it. Got a brand new Area-51 Alienware computer and can't play this game. What should i do?

I would either contact Dreamcatcher

tech support.

most likely for the ease of it... lol... no I have no idea, it sounds rather weird to me, however it seems to be true, as DC lists a serial key right on the techsupport site.

I would guess something's messed up with the CD protection technology used by ERT.

Nope, it is THE authentication key for Enigma. Like an ISBN number or barcode. The difference is, it will only work with an authentic retail CD.
It's a pretty slick protection mechanism that helps delay the full piracy of the game allowing the retailer, our publisher and us to make a little bit of money to help pay off the rather gigantic expense of creating it.

I thought unique codes for each CD was needed , to ensure it was an authentic copy,, and if it wasn't ( or isn't ) ,I wonder why the UK CDs had unique codes....(.Also) Wasn't it to do with the 30 day free use on multi ? Thereby verifying one had bought a copy . Anyway ........Success with it,,, against GMX !!!
