Hi guys,

Picking up on Jokers post regarding Bestia leaving...

I haven't talked with him, so I don't know why he has decided to leave.

However I saw a post he made in the last few days, it was in response to one of Joker's posts regarding the poor turn out to the Saturday night matches, the situation re HAWK, general BSS atendance etc etc.

I only read the post once, and I have tried to find it again, but I can't find either Joker's initial post or Bestia's response anymore - now I may be mistaken, but I am real sure it was Bestia posting and he made a brief comment about having to travel ( presumably a reference to why he can't always make matches ) and that he would talk to Joker about this later sometime. From the tone of the post, as far as you can detect tone in such messages, I sensed he wasn't happy.

Anyway's I suspect he has taken offence at Joker's "get with the script guys" post.

I mention this in the CO/XO board, and under a benign topic title / topic description, as the titles are visible to all and due to the possible sensitive nature of this post.

Hi Burton,

Bestia had had already told me that he travels a lot in a PM he sent me, so I'm pretty sure that he knows I understand his issues with that.

To be honest what I got from his e-mail to me, he was upset with Picken for being inebriated at the match and I think one or tow others had him a little upset, but he didn't elaborate on who or what. He wants to sit and think about it before he makes a final decision. I hope he lets me know what it is, because I can't fix something if I don't know its broken.

As far as Picken is concerned, I explained to Bestia that Picken is a UK chap and for him to show up to this match was a tough task as it was, and that Picken was making a statement to the rest of the squad about being dedicated to the squad. I also told Bestai that I admired Picken for showing up when he didn't need to.

So hopefully this will help smooth things over a little. As far as anything said I'm not sure if that is what it is or not. It could be that he was tying messages to us on the comms and we were missing them. I myself do not watch the comm when in a match and if your not on TS I doubt if I'll see what anyone types. Bestia's sound card is dead and he said he would try a get a new one from work this week.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

AHA - yes that was the post ....

I had a chat with Tango last night and he said the same about Bestia's comments re Picken.

I wasn't at the match, and I assume it was last Saturday's match. So I think your right, I think it was 23:00 GMT and Picken probably dived in after a night out, in fact 23:00 is early doors for a Saturday night.... he could easily have changed his Saturday evening plans to be available... I recall he made a post when registering for the event - to this effect.

So if he had had a drink, had been out and still got back for a match ... well as you say - this arguably shows a very high level of <hic> CummitMUNT <hic>...

Lets hope when Bestia hears this he may have see things differently.
