Very Very nice BlackEye! I agree, I love the background on #1; #3 has nice crisp logo graphics, and is also really nice. Just wondering, if you could "hide" your llama in the dog's neck fur... llama still white, and absolutely still viewable, but perhaps more subtle... just curious as to how that would look... kind of like "can you find the llama", and when you notice it you feel like you have spotted something special? Only asking cause you asked for feedback, and I thought it might be something a bit different to try. (i watched the llama in the last sig.. was he supposed to do something? LOL?)

In speaking with Tbar, we would like to keep the ToW Shield intact (without defacing).
So in order to get similar effects without messing the shield, just make two or three disks in a new layer and stagger them slightly. Then do the wind effect as many times as necessary...then begin a Gaussian blur effect until you get the look you need. You can transform the blurred layer to match size and angle (rotation) so don't worry about exact size when making the disks, just general shape.
Then make sure your original shield layer is placed above the blurred layer...and BANG!
Here is an example with just two colored disks...yellow and white.
