I only have the demos but I assume it's similar in the retail game.

The ships are a very sterile environment. I've already mentioned elsewhere at least having AI human figures manning the guns.

What I'm referring to here is there should be sounds of people. Whether it's a captain/player giving orders or a crew member reporting to the captain, it's too silent on board.

That would be good with the graphics in E:RT are cool way better than Destroyer Command where the screws dont even turn when you see them coming out of the water in high seas. When i got the game 2 days ago, I thought that not having crewman vissible on the decks was a missing component

I agree...adding static crew members would be a big plus.

The reason there are no human figures is that it would effect their content rating and hence number of sales.

Maybe in Multiplayer this restriction will be less of an issue and you'll be able to see your hapless helmsman, gratuitous gunner & tenacious torpedoman at work

I do not understand your explanation. bluh:

If you look at the game packaging, you'll see a small logo in the bottom left. That shows it has a "Teen" rating. If they had humans in the game they'd be the next rating up, whatever that is.

That is correct. We have been working on some strategic relationships that encouraged us to get a T rating or lower. Human crew are in the works for an unspecified release.
