The B-TAC is very nice but I would like to keep it open and drag it to the side so that my center view is not obscured, just like a window.

If this can be done, then it would be nice to also have a preference option to make the B-TAC display non-transparent for better clarity. Even better would be a small on/off checkbox in the B-TAC itself that enables/disables the transparency.

Similarly, it would be nice to be able to pop up and move around separate windows of the throttle and rudder controls as well as the fire controls, that are larger than the controls in the HUD.

I agree, this is similar to many Dark Age of Camelot options. Every off/on HUD display in DAOC is positional, sizable and has degrees of transparency options. It's a user friendly touch.

this might be something to be considered ,multi monitor, periheral input devices gaming means ,positive direction toward an better simulated envioronment.

(plus it wouldnt be to hard to replicate the uboat interior with an few sheets of ply and 3by2 pine, put it on an gimble . given the way virtual gogles are going ,im sure you could attach them to an pvc, pipe sorry periscope....card support seems to be on the move at the moment, and it wouldnt be to hard to adapt some of that neat flight sim gear thats out there......it just having such options in the first place.
