Tides of War

While some of our little lambs wander off from time to time whether it be from illness, PC problems, lack of interest, or just to go out and find something new, I, as the good Shepard, have to wait and sees if the lambs come back to the flock. I'm very pleased to see some of our flock returning to the fold.

Yesterday was especially pleasing for me because 1st I got to help one of our missing members get his TS fixed so he could chat with us. Welcome Back Corey (Comanche), and then a little while later RED was back on TS and I was trying to help him get AA set up on his new Dell Inspiron laptop with Vista.

(I really wasn't much help, I just found the info the Tank had posted and copied it to TS so he could read it. It didn't work for me. I tried installing it when he was doing his, but mine wouldn't let me check the box I needed to check. lol) Today should be a test for RED to see if the install will actually work for him. I'm crossing my fingers.

Then later in the evening I was flying in teams and I heard another voice on TS. It was kind of faint and making some squealing sounds, but through all of that I heard him say Coldfire. I immediately jumped out of the game and started chatting with him and trying to help him fix the squealing problem. It worked for a little. Then Coldfire decided to fly for a little while in teams and lot of people were happy to see him and welcomed him back.

We also have other members who are making a slow return and we welcome them back to, Dingo, and Picken and still others who stick there head in the doors just to say Hi from time to time.

All in all I'm a very happy shepherd and the flock of sheep is remaining healthy.

Except one reason if i'm dead which is the only thing will hold me from coming back again, sorry about that in advance lol But even though i promise to try hard and still pay a visit once in a while in your dreams hehe

btw, i haven't recieved any messages from the squad mailing system since a long time specially after i asked to change my old e-mail to the new one i made specially for BSS.

I was wondering, the mailing sytem still working and it's just me? or it have some technical issues?

maybe you only fixed my e-mail address in the pilot roster page and didn't add the new one to the mailing list of the squad. just a thought not sure. with much respect.

BTW also, I have a Truck LOAD of forum posts to read which i have missed while i was away, plus the forum keep getting archived periodically, so i gotta check there too (archives sub-forum). its gonna take me a month to finish this lol

as i care to read everything posted as much as possible whenever i have time.

Sorry about that Coldfire. You may be right, I might not have changed the squad mailer to your new e-mail. I'll check it soon and get you fixed up.

hehe.. well I would suggest that you mark all the forums as read .. so you can keep up with the most recent posts .. you can trust Joker to bring you up to speed on the important stuff Then again.. if you have a week solid to read .. carry on airman!!
