Enigma would be a excellent game engine for portraying naval battles of other eras.

You could produce add-on packs so that ships of the Victorian pre-dreadnought time period could be played: the Russo-Japan battle at Tsushima straits, or the Spanish-American naval battles off the Phillipines and Cuba. It would be to nice to see Dewey's flagship the USS Olympia underway again. The Olympia is a floating museum at the Philadelphia waterfront nowadays.

For European appeal there were battles in the Adriatic between Italy and Austria-Hungary.

Another era is the American Civil War period between the CSS Virginia and the USS Monitor. Steam and sail. Wood and iron.

Real editing tools so we can put together our own scenarios and solo campaigns using all those expansion packs you could sell to us.

The Enigma game engine has the potential for so much more! Please don't let this become a one-shot wonder!

thanks for the encouragement cwmark. Your ideas are right up our alley. We are working very hard to hold it together. Problems with our UK publisher are the only thing standing between us and some serious expansion.

Keep posting, great ideas.

Just got an email reply today from GMX Media, the publishers, regarding a future editor. All they answered was a flat "no". crybaby:

I would pretty much ignore anything GMX has to say about it. This isn't their game, it's ours.
