Due to lack of attendance during the summertime, equal power and

last team standing will be postponed until the end of summer.

Backyard Brawl will still be running on Friday nights.

And we will be having a rotating event every other Saturday.

Look for,,,,Saturday night fights ,,,,Twice a month.

Ahh, the good ole Summertime Blues have arrived. You need a break anyways Pop.

I would like to say thanks again, for the time and effort you put into the fun events.

And I must say it will be nice to take a break.

Does pop continue to receive a full salary and benefits while he is on a summer sabatical? This could be a dangerous precedent. What would happen if the high salaried people like Skydancer and Temper did the same thing? We would end up with a budget deficit even bigger than that of the US Government.

Now I'm truly sad, LTS postponed? This just can't be, but I do understand. With a total of 7 (SEVEN) people showing up for the start of this weeks LTS, I guess it makes sense.

By the way, we waited till quarter after for a ref and no one showed so I got the ball rolling and Skydancer took over with his super duper programmable keyboard which was much more efficient than my hunt and peck typing style.

Maybe I should learn how to program my programmable keyboard so I can be efficient too! Thanks Sky, it was a big help having you there.

I'm really going to miss not having something to do on my Wednesday evenings.

With your assistants .. why can't you keep LTS going on Wed Night .. and one for EP on Monday nights? Frankly those event are something a lot of folks look forward to playing. Yes, I know its slow.

I noticed that, at the same time as 7 players were in LTS there were many more in teams that night. I'm inclined to think that it's not only pop who needs a rest from the events. Perhaps the players do also. It seems to me that after an event has run for a certain length of time interest in it begins to fade. After a while, however, its return is met with renewed interest. It is rather like children's games that re-emerge every year and last for a while then disappear till the following year.

Your Right ,,, IT seems players need a break from fun events.

Monday's equal power had 3 players including myself.

With 16 players still in teams.

So we will all take a break together.

funny Backyard Brawl used to be 1 hr. it has now turned into a 1 1/2 hr event.

I myself really enjoy BYB No rules and no crying.

Also I'm going to try a by weekly event on Saturdays.

Tbar it's not a matter of having someone there, its lack of attendance.

Yes I still get all benefits. Complaints, insults and threats come in daily.

Puts feet up on desk, lights smoke, smells coffee for poision, Smiles :lol:
