I don't mind loosing deadwood. Its not about if he's a nice guy or not. This is a 'squad' and its all about the 'we'...

Why do people join when they quit ?

Well Eagle, here is my point of view. Most of the people who apply to the BSS have no idea that we are pretty much a squad of newbies. They see us fly around with our tags in FFA and they think that it would be nice t be a part of a squad so BSS is what they remember. Once they fly with us for a little while the realize they we do in fact fly like newbies and all they want to do is WIN! So they go on there merry way looking for a better squad to join. Looking for the greener grass. Unfortunately, when and if they get to be a pilot in one of the other squads, they usually don't get to fly in matches, because in a match you put your best team on the field. Your first stringers.

For now, everyone on our squad are first stringers until the cream of the crop starts to rise. The guys who show the dedication to the squad, show up for practice, and the matches all the time on a regular basis, will eventually be our first stringers. At the present I'm looking for about 12 - 15 pilots to be my go to guys. So far we are a long way from that happening. At this time we are almost half way there to getting a 1st string list of pilots for our competition team.

We also HAD a thing going on where we would recruit anyone who could hold a joystick in there hand. It didn't matter if they where 6 years old or 60. We have now come to our senses and only accept pilots who are 18 years of age and older accept on a rare special occasion we find a younger one who can act like and adult and has good pilot skills.

Yes, I still consider myself a newbie, even after 2 years of flying this game. Until I can beat the likes of Tbar and Air Boss, and Skydancer and Madman on an even basis, I will still be a newbie.

Joker you are not a New B m8 far from it. You have alot of things on you as C/O if you could put the effort into flying like you do this squad You might find me making a rear mistake and get a bullet into me (teheeee)

JK bro. You are a very good pilot that just needs to fly and watch superior pilots and copy watch some videos bro record some matchs go you as a C/O can go into other matchs and sit with ref to watch.(and record bro :?:roll: )

Air Boss

Hey Air Boss, No way am I going anywhere. I love these guys to much. As far as learnign this old dog is having a hard time keeping up with the better guys. Sometimes I'm on but most of the time I'm just a target taking up space.

As far as going to other matches and recording the films I have done that, The problem is they were all on my other PC before the hard drives crashed. I had some really good videos two. The only one I have know is where I took on Windmillhill and some other good dude and I was lucky to pull out the win in that one. I was puckered so tight to the seat, that I think I still have some of the fabric lodged up my crack.

Anyway, I'm learning but it is coming way to slow. If we could get us a good training pilot in the squad we could do wonders.
