It's that time again for SNL! Squads are welcome to sign up now via the forum under the topic! C/o's are required to post there or any group leader on CLP.

Guest pilots will be allowed for SNL, but will need to be deicded before SNL starts, and they will all be listed on the forum, so everyone knows who the guests are.

UK / GE squads have been invited. times start will be between 11pm-2am (6pm-9pm EST) on saturday.

Any comments, please contact me via pm, or post here or contact me via email on: lm@thewarships.com

I hope the match times will be set for our times.

I don't mind flying at 1 pm as most of our squad is PST.

Let the uk and ge fly late say 9 pm their time.

so we dont have to get on so early.

Think you've misread pop. Game times are set for US.

Start between 6-9 EST. US vs US obviously will always be 8-9pm EST start, whereas the only 6pm Est time start will be against Rb/Ge. I'm sure warships will be fine with 7/8pm EST start. which in Pacific time range = 3Pac - 6pac. Most like most matches 6pm pacific, apart from the one game at 3pm pac for RB / GE or 2 games if they decide not to fly as one.

Rb is looking for 2-3 guest-pilots. So whoever wants to take part in this but their squad not: your welcome. ;)

My Two Cents

With no disrespect for anyone., it is my feeling that we have THREE fine communities that host leagues and have all the structure for doing so ..

Sal and Madd have done a fine job trying to get the SNL going. I have utmost respect for their efforts etc. However I must present my feelings and thoughts on the matter of SNL or in particular any 'league' event for AA.

SNL should be hosted and sponsored by one of the established Communities. Anyone that wants to host a league or an activity should go thru one of these established communities. Last year as a primarily US pilots event SNL was naturally hosted by the USAAC. At that time Sal was our Director and I think our League Master in essence.

I will recommend to BSS not to participate in any League that is not sponsored by one of the Established Communities. If individual BSS pilots wish to participate as a "guest" pilot for another team there will be no objection by BSS_Tbar.

A lot of work by a lot of dedicated folks went into establishing the current main communities. They all have the leadership, skills, and tools in place to 'make it happen' as well as the contacts etc to co-operate on an International basis. Even when there are "difficulties" these three communities work well together. I think everything would work smoother via one of the established communities that is in place.. for exactly these types of functions.

If the current SNL leadership would have presented this to the USAAC for sponsorship and sanctioning this year.. as was done last year, I would have no problem with participation of the BSS as a squad. In this case .. the USAAC League Manager would have probably used either Sal or Madd as the League Director for SNL. IF the SNL was hosted or sponsored by the UK or GE communities.. again I would have no problem as they have everything in place for this type of thing.

To some of you .. my 2 cents will sound like sour grapes .. or just bitching about something, etc. It is genuine concern for all the work.. and established communities. Why do these communities do all that they do? There are many good reasons.. or perhaps even better reasons than I have not listed or thought of that all major events (leagues in particular) should go thru one of the established AA Communities.

Just my 2 cents folks .. don't get your panties in a wad.

Well the BSS only had 5 1/2 pilots sign up in our forums for SNL so I guess we are going to decline flying this event. I was kinda looking forward to it, but I want to fly with my squadmates and I'm not going to go into battle with only part of a team. In the past it was ok but it does get a little tired after a while.

WOW!!!

SNL has been running much longer than this site. If you are going to black ball the event, just do so.

BBS isn't going to make or break the SNL. To try to hide behind the USCAA being involved or not scenario is just bullox in my eyes.

I am just embarrassed on how caddy this site is compared to the others.

Tbar, better make that 2 pesos sir. What a joke.

I will refrain from saying anymore as it would just LOWER myself to where you are!
